Francis Kleynjans was born in 1951 in Paris, France. Along with Roland Dyens he is considered truly one of the most remarkable French composers for guitar. He started his guitar studies with Alexandre Lagoya and later with Alirio Diaz. Although he is a guitarist, he is regarded more as a composer. Many are the publishers who register his works in their catalogues. He has composed than 600 parts for guitar, studies and concert parts, solos and duets, trios, quartet but also film music.
